Q: I received a forwarded bounce email report. What should I do with this?
A: Some of the Data Outlet modules send emails (i.e. order confirmations). When such an email cannot be delivered to the addressed mail server, it will bounce. Depending on the addressed server, the level of information about the original email varies. When Data Outlet has enough information in the bounced email to connect it to a specific customer, the bounce email report is forwarded to a registered email address.
When you receive such a forwarded bounce email report, please check and rectify the addressed email address in Data Outlet. This prevents future order confirmations from being bounced again.
