Data Outlet Admin - 1. Introduction
Data Outlet is an online database with a complete set of records for food service and retail outlets. The database is split into two parts, namely a public and a private section.
The public section is shared by all users. Public information for a food service or retail outlet is non-competition sensitive information, such as:
- Contact details
- Relations (e.g. head office, subsidiary, wholesaler)
This information is visible to all Data Outlet users, regardless of what company they work for. For example, if one user edits the name of an outlet, the change will be visible to all users from all companies working with Data Outlet. The advantage of this system is that users can jointly keep the database up to date.
The private section is only visible to users from one participating company. This section contains information such as:
- Appointments/ contact history
- Product use
- Pricing agreements
- Company characteristics
- Sales history
- Complaint form
- Sample requests
- Tender form
This data is only shared with other users within your own company. The private section offers you a complete Customer Relations Maintenance system or CRM.
In Salesmapp data is shown that can be stored in either the public or private database. Which public data shown is controlled by Datlinq. Which private data is shown and registered can be controlled using the "Admin" module in Data Outlet.
