In Salesmapp there's a possibility to connect Dropbox and show Dropbox documents on an outlet level. Dropbox is a personal cloud storage service (sometimes referred to as an online backup service) that is frequently used for file sharing and collaboration.
In order to connect Dropbox in Salesmapp, please follow the following steps:
1. Ask your Projectmanager or firstname.lastname@example.org to enable the Dropbox functionality in Salesmapp.
2. Download Dropbox in the AppStore.
3. Create a Dropbox account. (Usually this will be your business email account)
4. In Salesmapp, you can link Dropbox files on the company card. (Dropbox documents) The first time you use this feature, Salesmapp will ask you to link your Dropbox to Salesmapp. You can link Dropbox using your Dropbox credentials. You can select "Add Dropbox document" to easily assign documents to that outlet.
Share documents with other users
There's also the possibility to share documents with your colleagues. In that case, you need to share the dropbox folder with your colleagues. This can be done in the Dropbox app. Go to Dropbox, select the folder you want to share and click on the "person" icon. A screen will pop up in which you can invite people to view or edit the folder.
When a folder is shared, each person who has access to that folder will receive a notification if a file has been added to that folder.
